About the course

Batch 02 runs the identical curriculum as the Winter Cohort — same question archive, same instructor, same board — stretched across eighteen weeks instead of twelve. It exists because the December sprint genuinely does not suit everyone.

Two kinds of students usually end up here. The first is still in HSC second year, preparing for admission alongside board syllabus and college tests, and simply cannot give four evenings a week. The second has already sat an admission test once, knows precisely which chapters cost the seat, and wants room to rebuild rather than a race.

The problem set

Nothing is cut. You get the same fourteen years of BUET, KUET, CUET, RUET, MIST and CKRUET papers, plus the harder supplementary problems used to stretch the top of the class. What changes is how long we are allowed to stay on one idea.

Mechanics gets six weeks here instead of four, and constraint relations alone get three full sessions rather than one. The chapter list is unchanged:

  • Kinematics, relative motion and projectile problems on inclined surfaces

  • Newtonian dynamics, constraints and pseudo forces in accelerating frames

  • Work, energy, power and potential energy curve reading

  • Two-dimensional collisions and centre-of-mass shortcuts

  • Moment of inertia, angular momentum and rolling bodies

  • Gravitation, orbits and escape conditions

  • Oscillations, damping and resonance

  • Fluids, elasticity and surface tension

  • Thermodynamic cycles and kinetic theory

  • Electrostatics, capacitor networks and current electricity

  • Magnetism, induction and alternating current

  • Photoelectric effect, atomic models and semiconductors

Every fourth week is a consolidation week: no new chapter, only mixed sets drawn from everything so far. Admission papers do not label their questions by chapter, and neither do those weeks.

How the sessions are shaped

Three live classes a week, arranged around the reality that most students in this cohort still have college, tuition and board preparation to survive.

  1. Friday morning, 9:00 to 11:30 — the long session: one chapter of hard problems worked end to end on the board.

  2. Monday evening, 8:00 to 9:30 — a drill class, entirely student-solved with the instructor only prompting.

  3. Wednesday evening, 8:00 to 9:30 — mixed revision plus the timed set of the week.

The Friday slot sits in the morning on purpose. Weekday evenings are already eaten by school coaching and private tuition, and a two-and-a-half hour problem session works far better on a rested brain than at eleven at night.

Dates, pace and seat count

Batch 02 opens on Friday, 13 March and runs 54 live sessions over eighteen weeks, closing in the third week of July. Seats are capped at 30 — fifteen fewer than the winter batch — because a slower pace only means something if there is room to stop and ask.

Weekly load is roughly five hours of live class and another four to six of solo solving. That is a real commitment, but it is sized to sit beside your college routine rather than replace it.

Who it suits

Take this cohort if you are in HSC second year and want admission-level physics running quietly in the background for the next four months, or if you are repeating and want the foundation rebuilt properly instead of patched.

Do not take it if your test is in January. You will be sitting the paper before this batch reaches modern physics — the Winter Cohort is the correct one for that timeline, and we would rather tell you now than take your fee.

Testing and feedback

Chapter tests run every Wednesday and are short by design: fifteen questions, thirty minutes, negative marking. Nine full-length mocks are spread through the eighteen weeks, the first in week five so that exam conditions stop being novel early.

Because the group is small, mock scripts are reviewed individually. You get written comments on your actual working, not only a score — the difference between a wrong concept and a dropped minus sign matters, and a number cannot tell you which one you made.

Doubts and one-to-one time

Alongside the shared doubt thread, every student in this cohort gets two thirty-minute one-to-one sessions, usually placed around week six and week fourteen. They are for the questions people do not want to ask in front of forty others.

I sat CUET once and missed it by eleven marks. The spring batch was slow enough that I could finally admit which chapters I had never actually understood, instead of pretending. Second attempt, I got in.

Doubt threads are answered within twenty-four hours on weekdays, and a live clinic runs every Sunday night for whatever has stacked up over the weekend.


Recordings stay open through the whole admission season, not just to the end of the batch, so the eighteen weeks you spend here remain available when the tests actually arrive. The printed problem bank is couriered nationwide for ৳450 if you prefer paper.

Thirty seats, eighteen weeks, the same physics — just with enough time to actually absorb it.

Draw a correct free-body diagram and constraint relation for any pulley, wedge or rotating arrangement
Identify within one reading whether a problem is a conservation problem, a kinematics problem or a geometry problem in disguise
Solve mixed chapter-blind problem sets, which is the only form the real paper ever takes
Rebuild the two or three chapters that cost you marks in a previous admission attempt
Sustain accuracy under negative marking instead of trading it away for speed
Keep admission preparation running in parallel with HSC second-year coursework without losing either

Prerequisite

HSC Physics theory covered, or currently in second year with the first paper finished
Able to differentiate a product and integrate by substitution without help
Targeting an engineering admission test within the next twelve months, repeat candidates included
Around five hours of live class plus four to six hours of independent solving each week
