About the course

Higher Math is not a reading subject

There is one route to an A+ in Higher Math and it does not involve underlining formulas in a guide book. It is solving, being wrong, finding out exactly why, and solving again — a few hundred times over. This batch is built around that loop and very little else.

Every session is a live drill. The instructor works on a shared board, you work on paper at home, and after each problem you submit what you got. Nobody dictates notes here. The notes are the solutions in your own handwriting.

Both papers, in the order the board tests them

The full HSC Higher Math syllabus is covered across twenty weeks, first paper then second, with the chapter order matched to the question paper rather than to the textbook contents page.

  • First paper — matrices, determinants and systems of linear equations

  • Vectors in two and three dimensions with dot and cross product applications

  • Straight lines, circles and the full family of conic sections

  • Permutations, combinations and the binomial expansion

  • Complex numbers, De Moivre theorem and polynomial equations

  • Trigonometric identities, inverse functions and trigonometric equations

  • Second paper — real functions, limits and continuity

  • Differentiation from first principles and applications to maxima and minima

  • Integration by substitution and by parts, definite integrals and areas

  • Differential equations of the first order and first degree

  • Static — coplanar forces, moments and equilibrium

  • Dynamics, motion under gravity, probability and measures of dispersion

Because the ordering follows the exam rather than the book, the chapter you drill in class is usually the chapter your college term test is about to cover. That is deliberate, and students consistently say it is the part that saved them the most time.

How the drill works

The ninety minutes are split the same way every evening:

  1. Before class: a five-question warm-up posted on the platform, ten minutes of work.

  2. First thirty minutes: the technique of the day demonstrated on two model problems.

  3. Next forty minutes: you solve while the board stays blank and the instructor reads submissions live.

  4. Final twenty minutes: the two most-failed problems reworked line by line, with the wrong turns shown rather than hidden.

  5. After class: a fifteen-problem set with a forty-eight hour deadline.

Warm-up marks are never the point. The point is that we know before the class begins which idea is missing from the room, so the session can bend towards it instead of following a script.

Batch 01 timing and seats

Batch 01 begins on Thursday, 3 September and runs 60 live sessions across twenty weeks. Classes are three evenings a week — Saturday, Monday and Wednesday, 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Fifty seats.

This is the early cohort, sized for students who have just moved into HSC second year and want the whole subject drilled properly the first time through, at roughly one chapter a week. Because the run is long, there is room to repair first-year gaps in algebra and trigonometry as they surface rather than pretending they are not there.

Who this is for

If you can follow a solution when someone shows it to you but freeze in front of a blank page, this batch is aimed squarely at you. That gap is not a knowledge problem and it does not close by reading more.

Students from all four of our regional groups — Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet and Rajshahi — attend the same live room, and question sets include problems taken from each of the education boards so nobody drills only one paper style.

Tests and reports

A chapter test runs every second Saturday, written in board format with full marks distribution, and is hand-marked the way a board examiner would mark it. Presentation and method are graded, not just the final answer.

At the end of every month you and your guardian receive a short report: chapters covered, homework submission rate, test scores against the batch median, and the two chapters to revise next. No ranking lists are published — a public leaderboard helps the top five and quietly damages everyone else.

Doubt support

Doubts go in your private thread with a photo of your attempt attached, and are answered within twelve hours on weekdays. There is also a Friday evening clinic where anything unresolved is worked through live.

Roughly a third of each Friday clinic ends up being about presentation rather than mathematics — where to write the working, what to state before substituting, which lines examiners actually look for.


All 60 recordings, every test paper with its marking scheme, and the chapter-wise question archive stay available to you until your HSC is finished. A bound copy of the year-long problem set can be couriered for ৳550.

One chapter a week, three evenings, twenty weeks. Start early and the last month before HSC becomes revision instead of panic.

In this course you will be able to

Complete a full HSC Higher Math paper with fifteen to twenty minutes left over for checking
Differentiate and integrate every standard form without pausing to look up a formula
Translate a worded conic-section or vector question into equations without hesitating over setup
Solve static and dynamics problems by drawing the force diagram first, every time, in the correct order
Present working the way board examiners award marks for, so full method marks survive an arithmetic slip
Spot the three or four question patterns that repeat across boards year after year
Track your own weak chapters from test data instead of guessing at them

Prerequisite

Currently in HSC first or second year with Higher Math as a subject
SSC-level algebra and trigonometry reasonably solid — factorisation, ratios and identities
Willing to solve on paper during every live session, not just watch
Around four to five hours a week for homework sets outside class
A quiet place to work for ninety minutes, three evenings a week
