About the course

Batch 02 is the later cohort of the same Higher Math drill, and it is deliberately built for the run-up rather than the build-up. The syllabus is identical to Batch 01; the assumption behind it is not. Here we take it that you have read the chapters already and the job now is speed, accuracy and exam temperament.

That single change reshapes everything. Sessions move faster, more of the time is yours rather than the instructor board, and model tests start in the second week instead of the tenth.

What gets drilled

Every chapter of both papers is covered, but weighted by what the board actually asks and by where marks are usually lost. Integration, conic sections and the second-paper mechanics chapters get close to double the session time of anything else.

  • Matrices, determinants and linear systems

  • Vectors in two and three dimensions

  • Straight lines, circles and conic sections

  • Permutation, combination and binomial expansion

  • Complex numbers and polynomial equations

  • Trigonometric identities, equations and inverse functions

  • Limits, continuity and differentiation

  • Maxima, minima and applications of derivatives

  • Integration and area problems

  • Differential equations of the first order

  • Static: forces, moments and equilibrium

  • Dynamics, projectiles, probability and dispersion

Second paper mechanics gets its own protected block of nine sessions. It is the section candidates most often leave for last, discover they never really learned, and then hand over twenty marks on.

A week in Batch 02

The weekly rhythm is fixed and does not change until the last fortnight:

  1. Sunday and Tuesday evenings, 8:00 to 9:45 — chapter drill with timed sets built in.

  2. Thursday evening, 8:00 to 9:45 — mixed revision drawing on every chapter finished so far.

  3. Friday morning, 10:00 — a model test, full board format, three hours, written on paper and uploaded.

  4. Saturday evening — the model test solved live on the board, question by question, with the marking scheme visible.

Writing the model test by hand and photographing it matters more than it sounds. Typing answers into a form trains nothing that the board exam will ask of you; three hours of continuous handwriting is itself a skill, and cramp in the second hour has cost students real marks.

Dates, pace and seat count

Batch 02 starts on Sunday, 24 January and runs 52 live sessions across sixteen weeks, ending shortly before the board exam window. Seats are capped at 35 so that every model test script can be individually marked and returned within four days.

Pace is roughly a chapter and a half per week, which is close to double Batch 01. That is only workable because the assumption is revision, not first contact — if you have not read the chapters yet, this cohort will simply outrun you and the September batch is the correct one.

Who should take this cohort

It fits three groups: HSC candidates on their final approach who have finished the syllabus in college and now need volume; students who did the first paper elsewhere and want a structured finish; and improvement candidates retaking Higher Math who need marks, quickly, without relearning from scratch.

It does not fit anyone still trying to understand differentiation for the first time. Being honest about that at enrolment saves a wasted term.

Model tests and reporting

Eight full-length model tests are written under board conditions across the sixteen weeks, plus a short timed recall test every Sunday on formulas and standard forms. Recall speed is measured separately from problem-solving, because they fail differently and need different fixes.

Marked scripts come back with three colours of annotation: concept errors, method or presentation errors, and pure arithmetic slips. Most students discover their score is limited by the third category far more than they expected, and that one is the fastest of the three to fix.

Asking questions

Private doubt threads are answered within twelve hours, and in the final six weeks that window tightens to six hours on weekdays because there is no longer time to wait overnight.

For the last two weeks before the exam, live classes stop and are replaced by daily evening question hours — no new material, just whatever you are stuck on that night.


Recordings, all eight model papers with marking schemes, and the full chapter-wise archive remain open until your board exam ends. A printed set of the model papers is couriered nationwide for ৳400.
