About the course

First paper physics is where the science stream quietly splits in two. Students who build the first three chapters properly spend the rest of the year applying them. Students who skim measurement and vectors end up memorising formulas chapter after chapter, and hit a wall somewhere around rotational dynamics.

This is a full-year foundation course on the complete Physics 1st Paper syllabus, taught in NCTB textbook order, at a pace that assumes you are also carrying Chemistry, Biology or Higher Math at the same time. Nothing is dropped as unimportant. The chapters that carry the most board marks simply get more class hours.

What the course covers

Ninety-two live classes across sixteen chapter blocks, each with a written problem set behind it. The heavy blocks are:

  • Measurement, dimensions and error, including the significant-figure rules that cost marks in the practical

  • Vectors and resolution, with the dot and cross products you will meet again in work, torque and flux

  • Newtonian mechanics, with a free-body diagram drawn for every friction, pulley and incline variant

  • Work, energy, power, and the conservation shortcuts that save a minute per MCQ

  • Gravitation, escape velocity and satellite motion

  • Rotational dynamics and moment of inertia, the chapter most students postpone and then abandon

  • SHM, elasticity, surface tension and viscosity

  • Heat, kinetic theory, both laws of thermodynamics, and the Carnot cycle

  • Wave motion, sound, resonance and beats

Every chapter is taught twice over. First a concept class, where the physics is derived on a digital board rather than presented as a finished formula. Then a problem class, worked entirely from Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi and Sylhet board questions of the last ten years.

How the classes run

Live classes are Saturday, Monday and Wednesday, 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm, placed after coaching hours so the schedule survives an ordinary school week. Every class is recorded and the recording lands in your dashboard within the hour, so a missed class is a rescheduled class, not a lost one.

The weekly rhythm is deliberately narrow. Four things happen per chapter, in this order:

  1. Attend the concept class and copy the derivations by hand. Screenshots do not count and you will be asked for the notebook.

  2. Work the problem set of 20 to 30 numericals before the problem class, not after it.

  3. Attend the problem class, where only the questions the batch actually got wrong are solved on screen.

  4. Sit the Friday chapter test, then review your marked script in the following doubt session.

That loop repeats for sixteen chapters. By June you will have solved somewhere near a thousand numericals, which is the real difference between a student who understands physics and one who can do physics in three hours under exam pressure.

Who this is for

Class 11 students who have just started the syllabus at college and want to stay a chapter ahead of their lecturer, rather than a chapter behind. Repeat candidates rebuilding from a weak first attempt. And private candidates studying from Chattogram, Sylhet or Rajshahi who cannot reach a Dhaka coaching centre and are tired of being told that is where the good teaching lives.

It also suits students already thinking about engineering and medical admission the following year. Admission-level MCQs appear in every chapter set from week one, marked separately from the board-standard questions, so you can watch two scores move independently.

Assessment and practice

Chapter tests are 25 marks, split 15 creative and 10 MCQ, released Friday at 9:00 am with a strict 45-minute window. Written scripts are photographed and uploaded; they come back marked, with comments on method rather than just a total, inside 48 hours.

There are four full model tests on the complete 1st paper syllabus in July and August, once the last chapter closes, sat under real conditions: three hours, 100 marks, no notes. Each one is ranked within the batch and returned with a per-chapter breakdown showing exactly where your marks went and where they leaked.

Instructor support

Doubts go into the course Q&A thread, not a group chat where a question disappears under forty messages by morning. Every question is answered by the instructor within one working day, and answered doubts stay searchable for the whole batch, so the fiftieth student to be confused by angular momentum reads the answer instantly.

Twice a month there is an open doubt-clearing session on Friday evening with no fixed agenda. You bring the problem you are stuck on and it gets solved on screen, in full, including the wrong turns.

I could always do the maths, I just never knew why I was doing it. After the vectors and rotation chapters here it finally connected, and my college test marks went from 41 to 68 in one term.

That is the ordinary result of finishing the loop, not an exceptional one. The students who fall behind are almost always the ones who stopped submitting problem sets in November, which is why attendance and submission are both tracked and both visible to you from day one.

Fees and enrolment

Classes begin on 15 January 2026 and run through to August, and the current fee is ৳2,800, reduced from the regular ৳3,500 for as long as the discount holds, until 31 December 2026. There is no seat limit and no cohort to miss: enrolment stays open after the start date, and because every class is recorded from chapter one, a student joining in April simply works through the recordings at their own pace and catches the live classes when they reach them.

If you are unsure the pace suits you, sit the first two classes of chapter one. If physics still feels like a memorisation subject afterwards, write in within seven days and the fee is returned in full.

In this course you will be able to

Resolve any force system into components and solve equilibrium problems without guessing a direction
Draw a correct free-body diagram for friction, pulley, inclined-plane and connected-mass questions
Derive the standard results of each chapter in board-acceptable form, with proper units and a labelled diagram
Solve 20 to 30 board-standard numericals per chapter and finish a 70-mark creative section within two hours
Recognise which conservation law shortens a problem instead of grinding through kinematics
Handle SHM, wave and thermodynamics questions that mix two chapters, which is where board CQs usually go
Attempt engineering and medical admission MCQs on the 1st paper syllabus at roughly 45 seconds per question
Report measurements with correct significant figures and error, as the practical examiner expects

Prerequisite

HSC first-year (Class 11) students of any general board, in the science stream
Repeat HSC candidates who scored below A- in physics and know which chapters cost them the marks
SSC-level algebra, trigonometry and geometry, comfortably
Willingness to pick up basic differentiation and integration alongside; it is used from the motion chapter onward and is covered in short side classes if your Higher Math has not reached it yet
A scientific calculator, a dedicated derivation notebook and a phone or laptop with a stable connection
Six to eight hours a week, including class time
