Batch 01 opens on 20 January 2026 and closes on 30 April, fourteen weeks later. This is the long version of our Biology Intensive - the one built for students who still have their HSC year in front of them and can afford to learn properly rather than quickly.

The intake call is on the evening of 20 January and teaching begins the next day. Classes are live three evenings a week - Saturday, Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM - with recordings up within three hours and available until the admission test. The cohort is capped at 60 seats, and we have never raised that cap, because past 60 the doubt sessions stop being conversations.

Tuition is ৳8,500, payable in one go at enrolment or spread across as many as five instalments - five monthly payments of ৳1,700 is what most families choose. Every option carries identical access and there is no surcharge for paying over time.

The January pace

Fourteen weeks for two papers works out at roughly one chapter every four days. That is deliberately unhurried. It leaves room to stop mid-chapter when a concept is not landing, to run an unscheduled problem session on genetics, and to let students who are simultaneously sitting college exams catch up over a slow week.

January starters also get something the March cohort cannot have: two complete passes over the syllabus before the test season. The taught pass is done by the second week of April, and the closing fortnight is a second sweep at nearly double speed whose only job is consolidation.

1. Weeks 1-4: Biology 1st paper - cell, cell division, cell chemistry, microorganisms and the plant groups.

2. Weeks 5-7: plant tissue, physiology, reproduction, biotechnology and biodiversity.

3. Weeks 8-11: Biology 2nd paper - animal diversity, the specified types, and the whole of human physiology.

4. Week 12: genetics, evolution and animal behaviour.

5. Weeks 13-14: the high-speed second sweep of both papers, plus the first three full model papers under exam conditions.

Weeks 4, 8 and 11 close with a review session in place of a new chapter. Nothing is taught, everything is tested, and the class works through whatever the test data says is weakest. Students consistently rate these the most useful sessions in the batch and consistently dread them beforehand.

What live actually buys you

A recorded course cannot notice that eleven people answered the same poll question wrong. A live class can, and does, and stops. Roughly a fifth of every session ends up unplanned, driven by the in-class polls we run after each concept block.

You are also on camera in a room with 59 people who want the same seat you do. That is not everyone's preference, and we say so plainly - if you work better alone at your own hours, our crash revision course is the honest recommendation.

Testing across fourteen weeks

There are 24 chapter tests, one after each teaching block, and 10 full-length 100-question model papers spread from week 7 onward. Model papers run Friday mornings at 10:00 with negative marking applied live, because the arithmetic of a 0.25 penalty has to become instinct well before May.

Scores are tracked as a trend, not as individual results. Your mentor sees the same graph you do, and the fortnightly call is built around it. A student who scores 19 in week 8 and 26 in week 14 is in a better place than one who scored 24 twice.

I joined the January batch because I had failed the previous year and I knew my problem was that I had never actually finished the syllabus. Fourteen weeks felt long in January. By April I had gone through everything twice and the third revision was mine to do alone. That was the difference.

Finishing early is the point of a January start. The last month before the admission test should be revision you run yourself, not content you are meeting for the first time.

Enrolment and seats

Seats open in late November and the January batch has filled before the end of December for three consecutive years. There is no entrance test to join, but there is a short written intake form asking what you have already covered, which decides your mentor assignment.

You may switch to Batch 02 in March once, without penalty, if the January schedule turns out to clash with your college routine. Seats permitting, roughly four students do this each cycle and nobody has been charged twice for it.
