Three A4 notebooks, eighty pages each, made to survive a full academic year being carried, folded, stacked and dropped into a school bag every day. The binding is stitched rather than glued. Glued notebooks fail in a specific and predictable way: the pages nearest the spine work loose after a few months, usually the ones from the beginning of the year that you most want to keep. A stitched spine does not do this, and it also allows the book to be folded completely back on itself without breaking. It lies flat on a desk. That sounds minor until you have tried to write in the inner margin of a notebook that keeps closing itself, or watched a page of working curve away from your pen. A book that stays open where you put it is a book you write in more. The ruling is standard width, but the margin is deliberately wider than usual. That extra space exists for a specific purpose: corrections, a teacher's note, the step you missed, or the alternative method you learned later. Working over the top of your own earlier work makes both versions harder to read, and most notebooks give you nowhere else to go. The paper is chosen so that ink does not show through to the reverse side. Eighty pages is not many if you can only use half of them, and gel pens in particular ghost badly through thin stock. Both sides of every sheet here are usable with ballpoint, gel or fountain ink. The covers are plain card in green, white and grey, with the Bikiron mark small in one corner and nothing else. There is nothing printed on the inside pages — no motivational quotes, no timetable grids, no calendars, no branding in the footer. It is eighty blank ruled pages, which is what a notebook should be. The three-pack exists because one notebook is never the right quantity. Most students run one per subject group, or one for class notes, one for practice working and one for a permanent formula and correction log. That third use is worth considering deliberately — a running record of every mistake you have made and its correction is the single most valuable document you will own by the end of the year. One honest note: these are ordinary good notebooks, not premium stationery. The paper is not fountain-pen showcase stock, the covers are card rather than board, and there is no ribbon marker or elastic closure.
